While Roxy has confirmed being attracted to Jake and Dirk, I like to think that the only person she’s in love with is Jane. If she’s unaware of it then she’s in denial. She doesn’t want to name the feelings she holds for Jane as something more than platonic and she’s pushing her towards Jake as some sort of validation. And maybe she saw the crushes she had on the guys as a sort of validation too. Like “see I still like boys I can’t be in love with janey duh” even though hello yes of course she can “still like boys and be in love with janey”
If she’s aware of it then she’s pushing Jane towards Jake to crush the feelings. If Jane gets together with Jake then Roxy can suck it up and move on because Jane’s happiness is more important to her and she’d rather be silent about her feelings forever than cause Jane any kind of distress over not being able to reciprocate. And maybe part of her is a little hopeful that Jake will end up refusing Jane and she’ll come back crying to Roxy so she can comfort her and Jane will be glad that Roxy is always there for her even if she’s drunk all the time and Roxy is just glad that she gets to keep Jane all to herself even though she doesn’t. Not really.
Roxy and Dirk’s unconditional friendship gets me too man. THERE ARE A LOT OF FEELINGS TO PASS AROUND ALRIGHT
